ITINERARY
Stop 1: Taanayel Lake
Forty-eight kilometers from Beirut, you will find the beautiful Lake of Taanayel. There, you will have a refreshing walk in the woods that leads you to the Lake, where you'll enjoy its mesmerizing views—following the yummiest Lebanese breakfast made up of all organic ingredients from the Taanayel farm.

Stop 2: Baalbak
Baalbak, a city in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, is known for its very rich history! That is evident in the different temples and ruins of Baalbak! But most importantly, Baalbak is also known for its people’s generosity and geniality. Today, Baalbak- the city that hosted all of Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, and Julius Caesar, will host you.

Stop 3: Temples of Baalbak
Inhabited since 9000 BCE, Baalbek became one of Lebanon’s most popular tourist attractions. The Temples of Baalbak- built by Julius Caesar (ruler of the Roman Empire)- are considered an outstanding archaeological site.

Stop 4: Baalbak Roman Ruins
On the same archaeological site, the Romans left Lebanon with some more beautiful ruins too! This treasure is considered one of the wonders of the ancient world! Conveying the intricate and beautiful architectural skills, the Romans used to have.

Stop 5: Temple of Jupiter
The Temple of Jupiter was built back in the days of the Roman Empire by Julius Caesar. "Jupiter" is also known as " The God of Sky and Thunder”, the most powerful among all! This temple also has its own glorious architectural structure.

Stop 6: Temple of Bacchus
The Roman Temple of “Bacchus” is a part of the Baalbak Temple Complex. This temple was dedicated to the God of Agriculture and Wine and for the son of Jupiter!

Stop 7: Temple of Venus
The final temple is the Temple of Venus, built in the 3rd century. This temple is dedicated and named after Venus: the Goddess of love and beauty. The Temple of Venus has one of the most original designs among all temples and was built on a horseshoe-shaped platform! As you visit the temple, you can see designs of doves and shells, which were considered evidence that the temple was dedicated to Venus.

Stop 8: Al Assi River Rafting
After our tour in Baalbek, you wouldn’t need anything more than a rafting activity in the refreshing water of the Assi River! It is known for its deep water, which offers one of the most enjoyable and adventurous rafting experiences in Lebanon!
